I’m Dr. Avonlea Brown, PT, DPT a pelvic floor and pediatric physical therapist based serving Huntington Beach and surrounding areas.
My mission is to help moms feel strong, supported, and confident — in their bodies, their motherhood, and their everyday lives. Whether you’re navigating pregnancy, recovering postpartum, or learning how to support your baby’s motor development, my goal is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you with care, compassion, and evidence-based guidance.
This work is deeply personal to me. I watched my own mom struggle after birth without the support, answers, or care she truly needed — and I’ve seen how common that experience still is today. That’s why I’m passionate about changing the narrative for mothers and families, creating a space where healing feels approachable, informed, and empowering.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from San Diego State University and my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Long Beach State. I’ve pursued advanced training in pelvic health through Herman & Wallace and the Institute of Clinical Excellence, allowing me to blend research-backed care with practical, real-world tools that fit your season of life.
I believe care should feel collaborative, personal, and empowering. My sessions are a place for you to feel seen, supported, and equipped with tools that make everyday life — and parenting — feel more aligned, confident, and less overwhelming.
